Edith Elvina Shirley's Obituary
Edith Elvina Smith Shirley, 84, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Ridgely, died Friday, April 17, 2009 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
She was a homemaker.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Bobbie O'Neal and Sheila Scott, both of Springfield, Mo.; four sons, Roy Shirley of Hornbeak, and Donald Shirley, David Shirley and Joe Shirley, all of Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Cora Leonard of Springfield, Mo.; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Una Fay Shirley; and a brother, Howard Smith.
