Edith Laverne Davis, 81, of Lemont, IL, formerly of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021.

Ms. Edith was born on December 27, 1939, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, John Richard and Artie Lois Palmer Lee. She was a former employee with Rockwell International and attended the Church of Jesus Christ in Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Rick Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Davis Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Davis (James Janis) of Lemont, IL; and a sister, Marilyn Wilshire (James) of Lake Station, IN.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Davis; and her parents, Bishop J. Richard Lee and Artie Lois Lee.
