Mr. Eddie Ray Tate, of Wynnburg, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at his residence.  He was born November 25, 1957 in Ridgely to the late Egbert & Ider Tate.  Eddie loved to paint pictures, fishing and watching television and movies.

He is survived by his wife, Kory Tate, his daughter, Teresa Deason, of Dyersburg, his brother, Larry Tate & wife, Judy of Texas, his sisters Joyce Belt & husband, Dennis of Rives, Jan Johnson & husband, Randall of Trenton, Linda Wheat of Wynnburg, Betty Boyd of Ridgely, his grandchildren, Aaron, Aidan & Emily Deason and Hailey Jackson.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Lisa Tate, his brothers, Jerry, Johnny, Billy & Allen Tate, his sisters, Pat Shampine & Mary Moody.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Dyersburg Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 12:00 p.m.
