Ms. Eddie Mae Proctor, 82, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Eddie Mae was born on December 9, 1941, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Eddie Herman King and Lillie Bullock King. She was a devoted nurse at the Parkview/Methodist Hospital and was a member of The Bridge Church. Eddie Mae loved her family and was a big part of her grandchildren's lives. She had a passion for art, loved to paint, draw and listen to music.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2024 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Mitchell Odell Proctor, Jr. of Dyersburg, TN; a grandson, Brent Wilson; three great-grandchildren, Raymond Wilson, Alexis Wilson and Mackenzie Wilson; and her "adopted" family members, Codi Sturgis, Onnie Ryland Davis and Elaine Wilson.

In addition to her parents, Eddie was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Proctor, Sr.; her daughter, Michell Wilson; and a great-grandson, Braxton Allen Wilson.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
