Eddie Osburn Lee, 59, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired production planner for Colonial Rubber Works, where he worked for 35 years. Eddie had many interests which included: Carpentry, toy making, avid reader, a love for travel and an avid fisherman in the Chic bottoms. His one wish was to go to Daytona Beach, FL for one last sunrise.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery in Halls.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Brenda Plunk Lee of Dyersburg; a daughter, Madison "Misty" Lee Cooper and husband, Richard, of Dyersburg; his parents, George and Mary Sue Lee of Dyersburg; two brothers, Steve & Rhonda Lee of Dyersburg and Kenneth Lee and Bill Young of Burlington, N.C.; three granddaughters, Pamela Cooper and Christina Cooper, both of Dyersburg and Mary & David Hayes of Okolona, MS; a great-grandson, Ethan Dee Hayes of Okolona, MS; a sister-in-law, Cindy Henson of Ripley; a brother-in-law, David Plunk of Newbern; a special cousin, Leonard Lee of Chic; four nephews, Jared & Angela Lee and Adam & Melissa Lee, all of Dyersburg and Josh & Sonya Canada of Milan and Justin & Megan Canada of Rutherford; five great-nephews; and nine great-nieces.
Pallbearers will be Jared Lee, Adam Lee, Josh Canada, Justin Canada, Ben Lee, Leonard Lee and Timmy Lee.
