Rev. Eart "E.J." Davis' Obituary
The Rev. Eart "E.J." Davis Jr., 79, of Southaven, Miss., formerly of Dyersburg, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008 at VA Hospital in Memphis.
He was a Church of God minister, a member of Oak Forest Church of God in Southaven, Miss., and an Army veteran.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Northam officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine B. Davis of Southaven, Miss.; a daughter, Lisa Davis of Southaven, Miss.; and a sister, Dorothy Bottoms of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eart Davis Sr. and Betsy Hays Davis, two sisters and two brothers.
