Doyle G. Willard, 77, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Doyle was born on July 15, 1942, in Peoria, IL, to the late Vibert and Rogene Goodwin Willard. He was the master barber at Agee's Barber Shop. In his 52 year barbering career, he cut 3rd and 4th generations. Doyle loved his career. In his younger years, he was a taxidermist. He loved working in the yard and creating beautiful landscapes. Doyle was a master woodcarver in Wildlife Artistry. He won second place twice in the World Wood Carving Competition. Doyle was proud he appeared on the Tennessee Crossroads twice. He was an avid fisherman and archer. He also loved old muscle cars, bluegrass music and played the fiddle. As a sports enthusiast, Doyle enjoyed washer pitching, corn hole, golfing, billiards, basketball and football. He was a big UT Vols and Memphis State Fan. Doyle was a Baptist by faith.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Turner and Bro. Don Layman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Willard Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Roxie Willard of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Terry Willard of Finley, TN and John Gamble (Mary Beth) of Dickson, TN; two daughters, Tammy Braddish (Michael) of Halls, TN and Carrie Burns (Clint) of Dyersburg, TN; five grandchildren, Savannah Gulyas, Michael Braddish, Jr., Bradley Kuykendall, Levi Burns and Bethany Willard; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Doyle was preceded in death by a daughter, Angie Willard Kuykendall; and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Michael Braddish, Jr., Clint Burns, Gaylon Reagor, James Allen, Walter Wilkerson and Jimmy Welch.
