Dorothy Lee Peal Lemonds, 90, of Ridgely, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Germantown Methodist Hospital.

She was a retired employee for Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council and was a member of Ridgely Church of Christ. Dorothy was also a member of the Ridgely Women's Club.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Jeff O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her two daughters, Judy Lemonds Jones and husband, Evan, of Tiptonville and Nancy Lemonds Hickey and husband, Michael, of Jackson; two sons, Jerry Lemonds and wife, Elaine, of Harrisburg, IL and Dr. Mike Lemonds of Memphis; a brother, Marlon Peal of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren, Jan Lemonds Crockett, Angela Lemonds Elrod, John David Lemonds, Jeremy Evan Jones and Katherine "Katie" Lynn Jones; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Maxie Peal of Union City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlon Lemonds; her parents, John and Annie Mansfield Peal; a sister, Carmen Newell; and two brothers, James Peal and J.S. Peal.

Pallbearers will be Evan Jones, Michael Hickey, John Lemonds, Jeremy Jones, Nathan Elrod and Brent Elrod.

The family will accept flowers at the funeral home or memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
