Dorothy Sue Patterson, 81, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at her residence.

Dorothy was born on February 5, 1939, in Hohenwald, TN, to the late Lee and Bobbie Ann McClain Seiber. She was a retired garment factory supervisor at Rolane Manufacturing and was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

Due to the current restrictions on large gatherings, the family will have a private graveside service held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her two daughters, Connie Nugent (Stevie) of Tiptonville, TN and Kathy Workman (Randy) of Union City, TN; two sons, Ronald Patterson (Linda) of Tiptonville, TN and Roy Patterson (Sheila) of Ridgely, TN; three sisters, Margaret Mills and Pearl Burto, both of Florida and Etheal Boyd of Newbern, TN; two brothers, Springer Seiber of Hohenwald, TN and Les Seiber of Dyersburg, TN; thirteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. "Ed" Patterson; a daughter, Caren Patterson; five brothers, Monroe Seiber, John Seiber, Kenneth Seiber, Leroy Seiber and Lawton Seiber; and a sister, Jeanna Seiber.
