Dorothy Mae Lucille Mccorkle's Obituary
Dorothy Mae Lucille McCorkle, 78, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
She was a homemaker and a member of RoEllen Baptist Church.
She was born May 10, 1931 in Dyer County to the late Amos and Mable Morrow Glozier.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Michaels officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Anthony McCorkle of Marquette, Mich.; two grandchildren, James Mac Anthony McCorkle and Alex Christopher McCorkle; and three nieces, Linda Sue Lemons of Tatumville, Dottie Lee Lowrance of RoEllen and Jane Simpson of Atoka.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Sue McCorkle; a sister, Hazel Barham; and a brother-in-law, L.C. Barham.
Pallbearers will be Alan Lowrance, Josh Lowrance, Steven Agee, Terry Lemons, James McCorkle and Robert "Bobby" Hart.
