Dorothy Jean Hartsfield, 85, of Newbern, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.

She was a retired machine operator for Trimble Manufacturing and attended Glendale Church of Christ.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Castleman and husband, Danny, of Newbern; three sisters, Billie Byers of Valparaiso, IN, Ann Wilson of Ripley and Frances McKnight of Germantown; two grandchildren, Jessica Puckett and husband, Philip, and Jesse Castleman and wife, Rosa, all of Newbern; and three great-grandchildren, Wyatt Puckett, Carlee Castleman and Baylee Castleman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hartsfield; her parents, Thomas and Willie Mae Davis Evans; two sisters, Jonelle Council and Cindy McDonald; and four brothers, Bob Evans, Aubrey Evans, Carl Evans and Leslie Evans.
