Dorothy Lucille Fisher, 94, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal. Dorothy loved to can food from her garden and travel. She also was an avid fisherman and gardener.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Novis Fisher and Mr. Murray Waldron officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Alice Waldron and husband, Murray, of Hattiesburg, MS; a son, Dennis Ray Fisher of Dyersburg; five grandchildren, Jeff Waldron, Chris Waldron, Eric Waldron and Ginger Ray, all of Hattiesburg, MS and Angela Turner of Covington; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Finis J. Fisher; a son, Douglas Wayne Fisher; her parents, Hugh and Onby Osborne Rundles; four sisters, Mary McGuire, Frances Nail, Burnell Morris and Ruth Rundles; and two brothers, Willie Rundles and Tommy Rundles.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Waldron, Chris Waldron, Eric Waldron, Michael Ray, Fisher Ray and Reed Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Rocky Fisher and Ty Fisher.
