Dorothy Elizabeth Wallace Dyer, 93, of Livonia, MI, formerly of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Livonia, MI.

Dorothy was born on April 30, 1928, in Obion County, TN, to the late, J. Floyd and Audry Corine Hogan Wallace. She was retired from Hope Picture Frame and worked formerly for Daisy Rifles. Dorothy was a babysitter for many years and she and her husband loved harvesting pecans. She was a 1946 graduate of Tiptonville High School.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2022 in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Carl Mills officiating. Burial will be in Cronanville Cemetery in Tiptonville, TN. The family will receive visitors starting at 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include her two sons, Herbert Daniel Dyer, II (Kathy) of Flanders, N.J. and Donald Lee Dyer (Josephine) of Reno, NV; another son she helped raise, Frank Lewis of Washington, D.C; two daughters, Peggy Sue Schramm and Freida L. Dyer, both of Livonia, MI; a sister, Linda Haggard of Dyersburg, TN; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Daniel Dyer.
