Dorothy Oleta Craig, 96, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at her residence.
Oleta was born on November 19, 1925, in Ripley, TN, to the late, Jesse and Viola Cannon Bradley. She was a retired assembly line employee with Heckethorn Manufacturing and was a member of Fowlkes Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Danny O'Guin and Rev. Neal Chatham officiating. The family will receive visitors starting at 10 a.m. at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Burchfiel (Malcolm) of Dyersburg, TN; a brother, Jesse Bradley (Sharon) of Ripley, TN; four grandchildren, Tracey Eggenberger (John), Cheryl Palmer (David), Shana Burchfiel and Shane Burchfiel (Lana); nine great-grandchildren, Garrett Purvis (Anna), Cody Purvis (Magen), Chase Patterson, Jordan Little (Landon), Emilee Palmer, Logan Palmer, Addison Burchfiel, Harper Burchfiel and Lucy Burchfiel; three great-great-grandchildren; and two caregivers who took very good care of her, Lisa Caswell and Donna Tucker, both of Halls, TN.
In addition to her parents, Oleta was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Craig; a son, Terry Craig; two brothers, Richard Bradley and Ray Bradley; and three sisters, Gertrude B. Osburn, Sue B. Safarjian and Evelyn Smith.
Pallbearers will be Shane Burchfiel, Garrett Purvis, Cody Purvis, Chase Patterson, David Palmer and Logan Palmer.
