Doris Jean Scott, 84, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at her residence.

Doris was born on February 23, 1939, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late C.W. and Louella Lamb. She was a machine operator for Dyersburg Fabrics and was a former employee of Rolane Manufacturing.

Memorial visitation for Ms. Doris will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.

Survivors include her son, Bobby Smith (Wanda Joyce), Des Moines, Iowa; a brother, Carl Lamb; two grandsons, Christopher Michael Smith (Megan) and Shawn Patrick Smith; and two great-grandsons, Drake Smith and Hunter Smith.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Kay Smith; and 11 brothers and sisters.
