Doris Ann Johnson Parham, age 83, of Dyersburg, TN passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.
She was born on April 5, 1938 in Dyersburg, TN to the late Emery and Dolly Ann Cooley Stephens. After retiring from Dyersburg Fabrics she opened up her home as a daycare for many kids. She loved caring for and entertaining all her family and especially all her beloved grandbabies. She was a member and attended Palestine United Methodist Church.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00-8:00 Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home conducted by Bro. John Lowrance and Bro. Mike Lunsford. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery near RoEllen.
Survivors include one son, Stephen Johnson (April) of Dyersburg, TN; one daughter, Teresa Robitaille (Lee) of Eddyville, KY; one brother, Paul Stephens of Dyersburg, TN; two sisters, Betty Folscroft of Dyersburg, TN and Virgina (Dare) Waller of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren, Chloe Anderson Wood (Josh), Kimberly Major Lovett (Mark), Catherine Druchniak (Jimmy), Joe Robitaille (Holly), Jeremy Robitaille (Rachael), Emileigh Pfeffer (Paul), Michael Parham and Kelly Parham; twelve great-grandchildren, Kinlee Sharp, Aubrey Wood, Staley Wood, Addylyn Lovett, Aiden Major, Mackenzie Porter, Hanna Bert, Gracelyn Pfeffer, Charles Robitaille, Oliva Robitaille, Max Robitaille and Eli Robitaille; and her special grandchildren that she watched for many years, Chelsea Baker and her children Bradley and Landen, Logan Lutrell, Lauren Lutrell, Grace Ann Webb, Lucy Lewellyng, Seth Lewellyng, Bear Burns and Brock May.
She touched the lives of many, many more adults and children over the years but couldn't begin to list them all.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Wayne Johnson; her second husband, Wilburn Parham; four brother, Richard Stephens, Gene Stephens, Malcome Stephens, and her twin brother Moris Dan Stephens; two sisters, Frances White and Faye Warner; one grandchild, Dillon Brown and one great-grandchild, Layla Grace Druchniak.
Honoring Mrs. Doris as pallbearers will be Josh Woods, Joe Robitaille, Jeremy Robitaille, Chuck Asa, Logan Lutrell, David Hollingsworth, Lonnie "Bubba" Wood and Hunter Baker.
