Doris Porter Heisey's Obituary
Doris Porter Heisey, 89, of Dyersburg, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
She was a retired production employee for Sylvania, member of Volunteer Baptist Church and a former Wal-Mart Greeter.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Tucker and the Rev. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Porter of Dyersburg; two sons, Thomas "Bubba" Porter of Humboldt and Jimmy Lynn Porter of Tatumville; two sisters, Elsie Bills of Southaven, MS and Brenda Bowien of Hernando, MS; a brother, Buddy Wilson of Coldwater, MS; a grandchild, Marlo Annette Porter; and a great-grandchild, Evan Thomas Wilkerson.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Tommy Porter and William "Bill" Heisey; her parents, Omar and Myrtle Dodd Wilson; a sister, Imogene Patterson; and two brothers, Carlton Wilson and Alton Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Eva Wilkerson, Robert Patterson, Ray Davis, Lonnie Shane Seratt, Mac Daniels and Robert Hart. Honorary pallbearers will be Nancy Barron and Joyce Carlisle.
