Doris Sue Cook, 73, of Wynnburg, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.

She was a homemaker and a member of Wynnburg Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wynnburg Baptist Church with the Rev. John Fields officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Cook of Wynnburg; two daughters, Linda Cook and Leann Cook, both of Wynnburg; a sister, Patsy Dacus of Wynnburg; two brothers, Harold Pitts of Ridgely and James Faye Pitts of Parsons; three grandchildren, Jason Brooks, Brayden Bane and Rileigh Roberson; and two great-grandchildren, Baylee Brooks and Remington Jace Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyce and Elizabeth Roberts Pitts; and a brother, Wayne Pitts.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Leake, Joe England, Billy Farmer, Mickey Dacus, Brad Howard and Gary Southerland. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny Mayo, Larry Dacus and Kelly Owen.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Wynnburg Baptist Church.
