Donna DeFosse Rose, 79, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at the West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Donna was born on August 8, 1944, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Hubert Carlson DeFosse and Florence Loretta Colvin DeFosse. She was a retired supervisor for HECO Manufacturing, where she worked for 43 years and was a member of Dyersburg Church of God. Donna loved animals, was an outdoor person that loved to work in her fruit and vegetable gardens and in her flower beds. She was a former cook at Finley Elementary School, loved to cook and enjoyed baking cakes for her friends. Donna was a special person and if you met her, she never forgot you. She has found her home in heaven with her Lord.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Dyersburg Church of God with Bro. Joseph Ballinger officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Dyersburg Church of God.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy M. Rose Moore of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Stephen D. Rose (Cindy) and William Heath Rose (Gail), all of Dyersburg, TN; one sister, Janice Mabry of Dyersburg, TN; four grandchildren, Josh Rose (Jennifer), Daniel Rose, William Tanner Rose and Hunter Rose; and two great-grandchildren, Kaley Rose and Madison Rose.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Willard E. Rose; a son, James Carlson Rose; and a sister, Linda K. Castleman.
