Donna Jean Phelps, 57, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

Donna was born on April 15, 1962, in New Orleans, LA, to the late James and Emma Jean Sprinkle Hays. She was a homemaker.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Pastor Don Tims, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The Phelps Family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Jerry Phelps of Ridgely, TN; 5 sons, Jerry Phelps II (Maranda) of Sorrento, LA, James Phelps (Christina) of Manila, AR, Shane Phelps (Amy) of Cooter, MO, Dallas Phelps (Juanita) of Dyersburg, TN, and Cody Phelps (Michelle) of Ridgely, TN; 2 daughters, Stephanie Murphy Rayburn and Jeri Gunter, both of Cooter, MO; 1 brother, Eddie Hays (Marty) of Union City, TN; 4 sisters, Mary Jane Gilbert and Jeanie McDaniels, both of Steele, MO, Ann Hays of Brookland, AR and Linda Hays of Granite City, IL; 24 grandchildren, of which 2 she took responsibility and care of, Chyenne and Cassidy Phelps of Ridgely, TN; and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by 1 son, Shanan Phelps.

Pallbearers will be Jason Phelps, Greg Peters, Roberto Perez, Tyler Dunkin, Jonathan Hattenhauer, David Lacey, Jason Middleton and Jason Roberts.
