Donna Lea Parks Allison, 70, of Kissimmee, FL., formerly of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her residence.

She was born on April 7, 1947 in Casper, Wyoming. Mrs. Allison retired in 2007 as a school teacher from Margaret Newton Elementary School, where she taught for 33 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tiptonville, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, Little Church Coordinator and a G.A. Leader. She later became members of Lakeview Baptist Church in Tiptonville, First Baptist Church of the Islands in Savannah, GA and Lock Haven Baptist Church in Kissimmee, FL.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Tiptonville with the Rev. Linda Serino, the Rev. Jason Allison, Mr. Ray Allison and the Rev. John Troutman officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Allison of Kissimmee, FL; two sons, Jason Allison (Tammy) of Kissimmee, FL and Eric Allison, of Tiptonville; her mother, Youna Parks of Fulton, KY; a sister, Debbie Jerman of Fulton, KY; and three grandchildren, Kayla Allison, Kenley Allison and Kadie Allison.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Parks.

Pallbearers will be Bob Serino, David Armstrong, Bryan Avery, Hank Curvin, Jaxon Neil, John Parker Dean, Chip Cain and Joe Joe Griffith.
