Ms. Donna Lynn Childress, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital.  She was born December 8, 1969 to Lindsey Deaton and Barbara Kent.  She was a devoted homemaker who loved time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.  She is remembered for her happy-go-lucky personality and enjoyed fishing, cooking and trips to the beach with family and friends.  She had the gift of a "Green Thumb" and loved to garden.

Donna is survived by her parents, a son Seth Childress and wife Brier-Ashley, her daughters Cortney Childress and Kaitlyn Speed and husband Austin Drummond and a brother Wade Deaton. She was greatly loved as "MiMi" by her grandchildren Adrianna, Braydon, Jayce, Brinley, Lanceton, McKenna Kennedi and was excited for the arrival of Reign and her great-grandchild, Weslynne.  She is preceded in death by her sister Debbie Deaton.

A visitation gathering for family and friends to celebrate the life of Donna Childress will be held at Dyersburg Funeral Home on Sunday,May 4, 2025 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m.
