With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Donna Joyce Bane, who departed this life on June 28, 2025, at the age of 79.

Born on February 25, 1946, Donna was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother whose love and warmth touched all who knew her. She worked as an assembly line worker at Jimmy Dean and enjoyed working in her flower beds. Donna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Veton McGuire; her beloved brothers, Terry Wayne McGuire and David McGuire; her husband, Tommy Bane; and her son, Alex Colby Bane. She now rests peacefully, reunited with those she held dear.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Chad Guess, and wife, Krissa, and their children, Zane and Zoey Guess. She is also survived by her twin brother, Dale McGuire, and her sister, Loran McMillan. Family was the heart of Donna's life. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Zane Guess, Justin Lyons, Matthew Lyons, Terry McGuire, Chad Guess and Mike Cowles. Honorary pallbearers will be Vick Burns and Nathan Burns.
