Donald Larry White, 80, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Jackson Regional Hospital.
He was a retired insurance salesman for Life of Alabama Insurance Company, member of First Baptist Church, a Mason, an antique car collector, avid duck hunter and an U.S. Army Veteran of Korean War.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Chad Keathley officiating. Burial will be in Yorkville Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his two daughters, Cathy Gail White of Waller, TX. and Kimberly Dawn Baggett of Pearland, TX.; three sisters, Mamie Sue Cane of Louisville, KY., Peggy Dunn of Lockport, IL. and Sheila Carlton of Dyer; three brothers, Dennis White of Lockport, IL., Douglas White of Boca Raton, FL. and Jimmy White of Memphis; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Goldie Bishop White; and a brother, Johnny White.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Campbell, Larry Campbell, David Glidewell, Bill Moore, Jack LeCroy and John David White. Honorary pallbearer will be Clifford Hopgood.
