Donald Richard Holland, 81, of Dyersburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence.
He was a retired factory worker for Colonial Rubber Works and a former employee of Lauderdale Water. Mr. Donald was an avid gardener, fisherman and race car fan. He was a Baptist.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Criswell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Holland of Dyersburg; a daughter, Ruth Ann Vestal and husband, Steve, of Mason Hall; four sons, Larry Holland and wife, Linda, of Alamo and Darrell Holland, Danny Holland and wife, Sandra, and Mike Holland, all of Dyersburg; a sister, Hazel Hatch of Dyersburg; a brother, Claude Smith of Dyersburg; eight grandchildren, including Kim Goff of Dyersburg and Lora Holland; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Ray Holland; his parents, Richard and Annie Smith Holland; and a sister, Dot Rose.
Pallbearers will be Larry Holland, Darrell Holland, Danny Holland, Mike Holland, Jerry Lynn Hill and Ollie Conders.
