Donald W. Flowers, 82, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Dyersburg Manor.

Don was born on March 15, 1937, in Prospect, TN, to the late, Joe Alonzo Flowers and the late Mennetta Callaway Flowers. He was a self-employed plumber and pipe fitter. He was a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ and was also a member of the McDonald's Breakfast Bunch. Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Owen officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jo Ann Garrison Flowers of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Steve Flowers of Denver, CO; a daughter, Rhonda Kaye Lumley of Unionville, TN; three sisters, Nettie Jean Garrison of Halls, TN, Joyce Marie Boyd of Bartlett, TN and Betty Ann Wittstruck of Brighton, CO; six grandchildren, Carolyn Freeman, Ashley Flowers, Leanne Waller, Sabrina Waller, Madison Flowers and Haley Flowers; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by five brothers, Ed Flowers, Doyle Flowers, James Flowers, Bennie Flowers and J.L. Flowers; and two sisters, Inez Basye Smith and Delores Quinley.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Wilkerson, Keith French, Matt Flowers, Tim McCraw, Terry Seaton and Matt Ozment. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Reynolds, Wendell West, James Shaw, Danny Carpenter and Neely Pritchett.
