Don Carson, 78, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, October 25, 2012 at his residence.

He was a retired salesman for Cooper Tires in Memphis, attended Second Baptist Church, graduate of Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy, member of Dyersburg Moose Lodge, U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Tucker officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Carson of Dyersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ora Sweatt Carson.

Pallbearers will be Tim Gurley, Hunter Gurley, Mike Biggers and Marty Blalock.
