Dillard Wesley McGuary, 69, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was a retired Construction Worker for Ford Construction, a member of Independent Free Holiness Church, where he was a member of the Elder Board and a Volunteer Redcoat for Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Independent Free Holiness Church with Bro. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Archer's Chapel Cemetery in the Frog Jump Community.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Nina Elizabeth McGuary of Dyersburg; a daughter, Cheryl Lynn McGuire and husband, Terry, of Dyersburg; a sister, Reba Janice Criss of Alamo; a brother, Gary Glenn McGuary of Olive Branch, MS.; three grandchildren, Dana Dallas, Christie Dallas and Kim Dallas; and three great-grandchildren, Natalie Sisk, Ilanna Sanchez and Lucas Pappas.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Wayne "Bubba" McGuary; his parents, George and Katherine Beard McGuary; and a sister, Juanita Lents.
Pallbearers will be Keith Pigue, Haryl McGuary, Daryl McGuary, Lannie Beard, Mike Lents, Barry Lents, Wayne Anderson and Royce McGuire. Honorary pallbearer is Michael Sisk.
