Dianne Sally Bennett, age 81, of Dyersburg, TN, and formerly of Snellville, GA, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Born on November 19, 1943, in St. Paul, MN, she was the beloved daughter of the late Dave and Gladys Yarbrough. Dianne was a dedicated educator, having retired from Berkmar High School where she was a teacher and actively involved with the school yearbook for over 20 years. Her passion for education and her students was evident in her long-standing commitment to the school community. She was a cherished member of the Bridge Club, where she enjoyed spending time with her friends. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Snellville, GA.

Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Bennett and wife, Cheryl, of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Cathy Wease and husband, Robert, of Gaffney, SC; two grandchildren, Emily Nicole Sain and husband, Jay, and Stefano Bennett; and two great-grandchildren, Jaycie Sain and Jay Sain, Jr.

In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by two sons, David Joseph Bennett and Alan Paul Bennett.
