Devona Faye Attaway's Obituary
Devona Faye Attaway, 53, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at her residence.
She was a former nurse for Northwest Correctional Complex and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Wes Depew officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 12 noon - 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, Jeremy Attaway and wife, Jamey, of Dyersburg; her father, Alfred Attaway of Dyersburg; a sister, Penny Childrey and husband, Phillip, of Ridgely; and two brothers, Allen Attaway and wife, Danita, of Dyersburg and Brian Attaway and wife, Melissa, of Vacherie, LA.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Avanell Lucille Sumner Attaway; and a sister, Pamela Diane Gladden.
The family requests that memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
