Delphia Marie Smith, 67, of Tiptonville, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant with The Bridge in Ridgely.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel with the Rev. Tom Brann officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Ridgely Chapel.
Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Morgan and husband, Ricky, of Tiptonville; a sister, Linda Inman and husband, Frank, of Finley; a brother, Larry Owens and wife, Ann, of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Carl "Boo" Bennett and wife, Teresa, of Ridgely, Mark Butler of Knoxville, April Butler and Elisha Butler, both of Dyersburg; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Smith; her parents, Olender and Marie McCorkle Owens; three brothers, Dennis Owens, Larry Monroe Owens and Kenneth Eugene Owens; a great-granddaughter, Danielle Butler; and several aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Chris Owens, Mike Bates, Joe Ybarra, Billy Bryant, Tracy Owens and Jerry B. Hampton. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Bryant and Larry Dale Owens.
