Debra "Debbie" Renae Cariker Mink, 54, of Dyersburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at her residence.
She was a retired registered nurse for Cane Creek Rehabilitation Center. She was a Christian. Debbie lived her life for her children and grandchildren. Being "Maw Maw" was the joy of her life. She was the wittiest fun-loving mom, maw maw, sister and aunt. She will be deeply missed by all of her family.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Neely's Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 12-1 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Monica Byrd and husband, Eric, of Tiptonville; a son, Phillip Mink and wife, Jennifer, of Harrisburg, AR; a sister, Teresa Evans and husband, Gerald, of Dyersburg; a brother, Terry Cariker and wife, Debbie, of Yukon, OK; seven grandchildren, Sam Mink, Brian Mink, Blakely Mink, Madison Byrd, Bryce Byrd, Erin Byrd and Ashleigh Byrd; four nieces, Lesli Lambert of Finley, Erika Evans of Newbern, Megan Cariker of Murfreesboro and Emily Evans of Dyersburg; and one nephew, Chris Cariker of Yukon, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvon and Erma Walker Cariker.
Pallbearers will be Eric Byrd, Phillip Mink, Chris Cariker, Gerald Evans, Jeff Lambert and Adam Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Mink, Brian Mink, Gavin Lambert, Lucas Lambert and Trevor Lambert.
