Deborah "Debbie" Marie Morris Everett, 67, of Newbern, TN passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at her residence.

Debbie was born on April 15, 1957, in Taylor, MI to the late James Leo Morris, Sr. and Betty Rose Layton Morris. She worked as a department manager and was also on the bowling team at Dyersburg Fabrics. After "The Mill" shut down, Debbie went on to become the manager at the Dollar General Store on East Court Street and then manager at the Shoe Department. Debbie was full of life and enjoyed everything about it. She was active in all of her families' lives. Debbie was the glue that held her family together and will be terribly missed by all of them.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2024 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2024 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Everett of Newbern, TN; two sons, Matthew Everett (Ellen) of Athens, GA and Jon Michael Everett of Newbern, TN; two sisters, Karen Schauer of Trenton, TN and Tereasa Gaines (Richard) of Thomaston, GA; two brothers, Philip Morris (Tina) of Thompson's Station, TN and Daniel Morris of Dyersburg, TN; two grandchildren, Hayli Everett and Roark Everett; six nieces, Vanessa Davis (Dave), Stephanie Rogers (Ricky), Michelle Evans (Hunter), Jenny Colon (Rafael), Megan Stafford (Keaton) and Candace Vineyard (Will);  two nephews, Roy Smith, Jr. (Kristin) and Robert Pearson (Brittany); her two fur babies, Gizmo and Rascal; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by a sister, Cecilia Morris; and three brothers, William "Bill" Morris, James "Bo" Morris and Robert Morris.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Rogers, Robert Pearson, Mike Coleman, Nic Smith, Roy Smith, Jr. and Dave Davis.
