David Lynn Young, 61, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was the owner and operator of West Tennessee Glass and Overhead Door Company, member of National Rifle Association, member of Dyersburg - Dyer County Chamber of Commerce and an avid hunter.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Chessor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his four sisters, Doris Timmer of The Villages, FL., Brenda Patterson, Linda Bland and Sandy Sanchez, all of Dyersburg; six brothers, Pete Young of Yorkville, Bubba Young of Lenox, Bill Young, Jimmy Young and Will Young, all of Dyersburg, and Luke Young of Finley; seven nieces and seven nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Norma Gibson Young.
Pallbearers will be Bill Mancell, Jr., Randy Brock, Lynn Mancell, Tim Bryant, Jim Boyd, Clint Young, Bill Young and Stanley Nail. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Kindle, Michael Young, Jeff Young and Jason Harper.
