David Stephens, 58, of Dyersburg, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at his residence.
He was a retired truck driver, a Baptist, served six years in the Tennessee Army National Guard and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Susan Stephens; a son, Chad Stephens and wife, Lisa, of Dyersburg; a stepson, Justin Kimbrell of Blytheville, Ark.; his mother, Caroline Taylor Klahn of Dyersburg; two sisters, Karen Songer and husband, Joe, of Springville, Ala., and Susan Walden and husband, Danny, of Dyersburg; two brothers, Mark Stephens and wife, Carol, of Dyersburg and Bruce Stephens of Ashville, Ala.; and four grandchildren, Molly Stephens, Tyler Stephens, Katie Kimbrell and Melody Kimbrell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
