David Earl Reasons, 64, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at his residence.

David was born on July 3, 1958, in Dyersburg, TN, to Sammy and Joanne Reagor Reasons. He was a machine operator with Bennett Tool and Die and was a Baptist by faith. David was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being at the lake on his boat.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Reasons Family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his son, David Barrett Reasons (Amanda) of New Johnsville, TN; a daughter, Holly Pettigrew (Thomas) of Camden, TN; his parents, Sammy and Joanne Reasons of Dyersburg, TN; three brothers, John Reasons (Lori) of Johnson City, TN, Raymond Reasons (Alice) of Eva, TN and Jimmy Reasons of Dyersburg, TN; and four grandchildren, Reese Pettigrew, Graham Pettigrew, Noah Reasons and Rylee Moseley.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
