David Samuel Parmenter, 64, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at his residence.

David was born on July 30, 1957, in Dyersburg, TN, to Margaret "Margie" Patterson Galloway and the late, Thomas Samuel Parmenter. He was a security guard for Walden Security and was a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ. David was an avid reader and loved watching and reading westerns. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his mother, Margie Galloway of Dyersburg, TN; two sisters, Joanne Parmenter of Dyersburg, TN and Cindy Helwig of Port St. Lucie, FL; a brother, John Parmenter, (Sue) of Poquoson, VA; and a special cousin, Michael Prater of Newbern, TN.
