David Ray Mancell, 67, of Buchanan, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at AHC Paris.

David was born on May 21, 1955, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Bernice Melvin Mancell and the late, Ethel Lorine Moore Mancell. He was a retired truck driver for Overnite Transportation. David was a Mason and a Shriner.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating.

The Mancell Family will receive visitors from 12-3 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his son, Joe Ray Mancell and wife, Amy, of Buchanan, TN; a brother, Jim Mancell and wife, Lilo, of Buchanan, TN; two grandchildren, Amber Brush and Clayton Mancell; and a sister-in-law, Pat Mancell.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two brothers, Hoppy Mancell (Darla) and Wayne Mancell; and two sisters, Betty Grant (Kenneth), and Marrie Allen (Hershel).

Pallbearers will be Jim Mancell, Bill Jr Mancell, Clayton Mancell, Tom Pylent, Ruey Winchester and Jamie "Clown" Lawrence.
