David Lee Doerr, 67, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Germantown.
He was a retired insurance agent for American General Life & Accident Insurance Company, member of Dyersburg First Church and he was a Mason.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Stoner officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Doerr of Dyersburg; two daughters, Teresa Webb and husband, Frankie, of Newbern and Debbie Sizemore and husband, Jackie, of Dyersburg; his mother, Jane Doerr of Dyersburg; a brother, Randy Doerr of Georgia; seven grandchildren, Misty Pearson and husband, Heath, Jimmy Whitlow and wife, Amy, Candace Sizemore, Courtney Sizemore, Alex Webb, Calin Sizemore and Craig Sizemore; and four great-grandchildren, Destanie Whitlow, Anna Sizemore, Elizabeth Marlow and Trey Dean.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.N. Doerr; and a brother, Bobby Doerr.
Pallbearers will be Ken Gow, Mike Jackson, Roy Boone, Doyle Willard, Joe Paschal and Kenny Eakin. Honorary pallbearers will be Harry P. Smith, Larry "Lonzo" Phillips, John Newsom and Doug French.
