Mr. David Franklin Deason, of Tiptonville, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.  He was born March 31, 1964 in Tiptonville to the late Billy & Gracie Deason.  He was a former worker for ERMCO in Dyersburg and the Northwest Corrections Complex in Tiptonville.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.  He also attended River of Life Church in Ridgely and Love & Truth Church in Jackson.

He is survived by his sons, Jonathan and Roy Matthew "Matt-Roy" Deason, his brother, Mark Wade Deason, hid grandchildren, Roy Matthew Deason, Jr., Aubree Kate Deason and Dominik Hackett.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Billy Wayne Deason and his sister, Tammy Warden.

Funeral services will be held in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Clayton Mahan.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until services begin.  Interment will follow in Lake Memorial Gardens in Tiptonville.  David will be honored by Joe England, Justin Lovell, Dalton Baker, Nick Strain and his sons Jonathan & Roy Matthew serving as pallbearers.
