David Junior Bryson, 67, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.

He was a retired farmer, member of Independent Free Holiness Church and a former employee of Oldberg.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the City Cemetery in Dyersburg with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating.

Survivors include his daughter, Shirley Sue Carden of Nashville; three sons, David Eugene Bryson of Selmer, Robert Lee Bryson of Newbern and Matthew Sean Bryson of Nashville; two sisters, Shirley Winstead and Nancy Carroll, both of Dyersburg; a brother, Liberty Levon Bryson of Parsons; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Gladys Noel Bryson; and three brothers, Charles Bryson, James Bryson and Joe Bryson.
