David Anthony Blackburn, Jr., 44, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

David was born on Sunday, October 9, 1977, in Union City, TN to David Anthony Blackburn, Sr. and Rachel Pitts Michael. He attended Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Calvary Independent Baptist Church with Bro. Paxton Blackburn, Bro. Carl Southerland and Mr. Wilford Mobley officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Blackburn Family will receive visitors from 4:30-8 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2021 at Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Abby Mallory and husband, Ben, of Ripley, TN; two sons, Paxton Blackburn and Thomas Blackburn, both of Tiptonville, TN; his mother and step-father, Rachel and Tim Michael of Tiptonville, TN; his father, David A. Blackburn, Sr. of Opelika, AL; two brothers, Richard Blackburn of Tiptonville, TN and Robert Michael of Ripley, TN; a half-sister, Elnita Blackburn of Kentucky; and a granddaughter, Everly Mallory.

Pallbearers will be Robert Michael, Thomas Blackburn, Chris McNeal, John Holifield, Isaac Isbell and Jackie Isbell. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Green and Shane Cockman.
