Daurice Jones Sentell, 88, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Daurice was born on July 5, 1932, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Dudley and Bessie Daniel Jones. She was a farmer and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg.

The Sentell Family will receive visitors from 10 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

A private graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Hickman officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her two daughters, Cindy Gaylord (Larry) of Blue Ridge, GA and Kim Bitner (Sammy) of Haskell, TX; three sons, Dwayne Sentell (Jackie) of Milledgeville, GA, Jimmy Sentell (Connie) and David Sentell (Judy) all of Dyersburg, TN; a brother, Bill Jones (Joyce) of Dyersburg, TN; fifteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Daurice was preceded in death by her husband, Evon Sentell.

Pallbearers will be Andy Sentell, Zac Sentell, Matthew Sentell, Austin Tucker, Dave Sentell, Eric Tucker and Keaton Brown.
