Darlene Timberlake Sugg's Obituary
Darlene Timberlake Sugg of Dyersburg, TN, formerly of Martin, TN died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 28. She was born April 19, 1931 in Pineville, MO to Charles and Thelma Timberlake. She was retired from the University of TN at Martin and was a member of First Baptist, Dyersburg.
Her memorial service will be on Saturday, December 31 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church Dyersburg with Rev. Mike Hickman officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, Robert (Bob) Sugg; two daughters, Melissa Melton (Steve) of Dyersburg and Beverly Ballard (Duke) of Lebanon, TN; two sons, Greg Sugg (Lynn) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Scott Sugg of Collierville, TN; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard Timberlake (Phyllis) of Concord, NC.
The family requests that memorials be directed to New Life Union Mission, 213 West Cedar Street, Dyersburg, TN 38024 or to First Baptist Church, Dyersburg.
