Daniel Wayne Tate, 52, of Ridgely, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was an employee of Georgia Gulf.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Calvary Independent Baptist Church with Bro. Carl Southerland and Bro. Marvin Tate officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Jeremy Scott of Wynnburg; seven sisters, Carol Gatlin of Rogersville, Ark., Brenda Campbell of Hornbeak, Patricia Dudley of RoEllen, and Jessica Moore, Sharon Moore, Nancy York and Linda Smith, all of Ridgely; and five brothers, Ray Tate of Jonesboro, Ark., Marvin Tate of Brooklyn, Ark., Joe Tate of Obion, Donnie Tate and Gene Tate, both of Ridgely.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruby Tate; and a brother, Hillsman Howard "Buddy" Tate.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Scott, Bobby Dudley Jr., Chris Tate, Brian Moore, Royce York, Shane Webb and Roger "Cotton" Brewer.
