Daniel William Felkner's Obituary
Daniel William Felkner, 72, of Dyersburg, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Judith; his children, Connie Lindsey (David) of Eads, TN, Beth Shipman (Jonathan) of Arlington, TN, Robert Felkner (Dana) of Memphis, TN and Erich Felkner (Tiffany) of Washington, IN; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers; five sisters; along with many nieces and nephews.
Dan was retired from Poly One and was a 39 year member of First United Methodist Church. He was active in Civitan, Gideons, and Dyersburg High School Trojan Booster Club, where he enjoyed going to football and baseball games often. He loved spending time with his family, but was happiest when his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were with him.
The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in the fellowship hall with a memorial service following at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Kathleen Felkner; one brother, Michael Felkner; and one sister, Barbara Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Pastor's Discretionary Fund at First United Methodist Church.
