Dale Snyder, Sr., 70, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at his residence.

Dale was born on May 22, 1953, in Ridgely, TN, to the late Lonnie M. Snyder and Mary Peacock Snyder. He was a retired superintendent with the street department for the City of Dyersburg.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, TN.

The Snyder Family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his son, D.J. Snyder, Jr. (Amanda) of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter, Megan Purvis (Cody) of Newbern, TN; two brothers, Ronald Snyder (Jeanette) of Ridgely, TN and Roger Snyder (Clarissa) of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Donna Walker (Junior) of Dyersburg, TN; six grandchildren, Caleb Snyder (Izzy), Kristen Turner (Wayne), Kendra Sorrell (Chris), Katie Davidson (Robert), Conleigh Purvis and Hannah Grace Miller (Austin); three great-grandchildren, Embreigh Sorrell, Everleigh Sorrell and Elleigh Sorrell; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Tracie Snyder; two daughters, Shannon Tankersley and Tabitha Snyder; a granddaughter, Dakota Barnes; and a great-granddaughter, Winsleigh.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Binkley, Jimmy Dale Snyder, Punkin Snyder, Frankie Smith, John Miller and Cody Purvis.
