Dale Sherrill's Obituary
Dale Sherrill, 53, of Tiptonville, died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at his residence.
He was a mechanic.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Wynnburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Cagle officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Sherrill of Tiptonville; a daughter, Sandi Sherrill; two sons, Randy Sherrill and Brian Sherrill, both of Tiptonville; his companion, Sharon Rainey of Tiptonville; three sisters, Gail Conner and Margie Gooch, both of Tiptonville and Finetta McClain of Murfreesboro; three brothers, Leyon Sherrill of Tiptonville, Jerry Sherrill of Union City and Jimmy Sherrill of Dawson Springs, Ky.; and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Sherrill and Lillie Sherrill Maddox; and a brother, Donald Sherrill.
Pallbearers will be Steven McClain, Reid Yates, Jason Tubbs, Jimmy Burrus, Jeff Mathina, Michael McCoy, Jerome Shumate and David Lynn.
