Cynthia Renee Pennington (known as Cindy or Penn) passed into the Heavens Saturday, 9/18/2021. She was born May 28, 1962 and was a vibrant woman full of Life giving to others along the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hal J. & Betty Pennington. Cindy leaves to mourn a brother, Hal Michael Pennington of Halls, TN and sister, Betty Pennington Holcombe of Austin, Texas. She was a wonderful Aunt to Jodi Pennington Bone (Ronnie, Luke & Thomas) of Murfreesboro, TN, Steven Pennington (Tara, Landon & Parker J) of Dyersburg, TN, Brooke Newsome of New Orleans, LA, Blair Holcombe (Vicki, Braxton & Kaley) and Barrett Holcombe, of Austin, TX; cousins, Kim and Patsy Peckenpaugh, Jennifer Pitts, & Jackie Jones; and an aunt, Sybil Jones, all of Dyersburg, TN, and Angie Stephens of Wylie, TX

In addition to Family, many friends share in grief of her passing.

Her humor was unsurpassed as she was always the Life of the Party. Her Heart was always ready to Love. Even though struggles came during her earthly journey, her stamina to move forward was exerted daily.

Her past career achievements included positions in Nashville,TN,  Atlanta, GA, Austin, TX, and at the Pennington Seed and Supply Family Business in Dyersburg. She was a graduate of Halls High School and Middle Tennessee State University.

Cindy's passion for animals was tremendous. In Lieu of flowers, the Family requests that donations be made to the Dyersburg Dyer County Humane Society, P.O. Box 223, Dyersburg, TN 38024.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a casual Memorial Service at the Home of Hal Pennington, 1118 Pennington Road, Halls, TN from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021. Please come & share personal memories. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
