Curtis Gladden, 57, of Newbern, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
He was owner of Deals 'R' Us and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Calvin Smith and Bro. Leonard Ballinger officiating. Burial will be in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Gladden of Newbern; two daughters, Angela Newsom Hale of Dyersburg and Abby Renee Gladden of Alamo; a son, Curtis Gladden Jr. of Hollow Rock; a stepson, T.J. Walley of Newbern; two brothers, Jimmy Lloyd Gladden and Noot Gladden, both of Dyersburg; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth Dycus Gladden.
Pallbearers will be Terry Johnson, Auston Mealer, Jimmy Don Akers, Terry Ledbetter, James Cooper and Gary Scott. Honorary pallbearers will be Babe Curtis and Scott Fitzhugh.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.
